Australian online-only retailer Kogan has announced the Kogan Agora Quad-core Smartphone to its portfolio.
The new smartphone will sport a 5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS LCD display, run on Android 4.2.2 and come with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
It will also have an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing and will be dual-SIM capable.
The Kogan Agora Quad-core Smartphone will have 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, as well as a microSD slot for further expansion up to 32GB.
While the handset is only 3G rather than 4G (LTE), you will get support for Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity.
In addition, it measures 144 x 74 x 11mm, weighs 153g and has a 2,000mAh battery.

Both iOS and Android are established mobile operating systems. There are unlikely to be massive functionality shifts that swing punters in one direction en masse. It’s incremental upgrades from here on in, barring a rare major shift in UI design - which iOS 7, for all its brighter colours and text buttons, is not. But it’s no less welcome for that.
