This app is made for all couples, but I highly recommend this app to anyone in an LDR. This is a great personal space just for the two of you. It’s a personal texting app, as well as a calendar of all of your important dates. You can set reminders so that important events are never forgotten! You can make lists of date ideas, write down your playlist, or even a grocery list (and it updates automatically so that they’ll never forget anything if they’re already at the store!) There are features such
as Live Sketch and Thumb Kiss that allow you to interact with your s/o directly. Thumb Kiss is an in-app game where you place your thumb anywhere on the phone, and when their finger is on the same spot, the phone vibrates to let you know you’re “touching.” It’s not much, but it’s very nice. You can also send videos, voice messages, photos, and drawings, which are all stored in your “Moments” tab, to keep forever. You can also send “secret” photos, if you want to send something without allowing them to screen shot, and photos that “blow up,” if you don’t want them to be able to keep up for too long. And the best part is that you can add a pass code to the app so that it’s only accessible to you.
It’s a GREAT app for all couples, but again, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it for long distance couples. It’s a great way to have a private space just for the two of you. It’s a great way to interact with your s/o, and it makes you feel closer. It only works if you’re “connected” to your s/o, so be prepared to enter an email address.
